A regular coating of fresh glide wax makes your skis or snowboard last longer, go faster and turn more easily. If you've never hot waxed before, this class will teach you the basics. An REI shop tech will show you everything from the basics for beginners who want to maintain skis and/or snowboards at home to some advanced tricks for those seeking better performance. The presentation will cover a wide variety of subjects including: tools and supplies, how to choose the right wax, preparing the skis or snowboard, and applying wax. Doors open (Wednesday Dec 6, NOT THURSDAY!!) at 6:30pm, presentation will run from 7:00-8:00pm.
